The Chief Taughannock Chapter members kicked-off their year-long America250 celebration with a social media campaign using AI-generated images to imagine our Founders as modern professionals in today's day and age. This is a year-long program that can be seen on the Chapter's Instagram page (link below on the Instagram icon).
In April, the Chapter partners with the Finger Lakes Library System in Tompkins and Seneca counties on a month-long Art Contest. Check out the Chapter News for information and keep watching for a post with the top 25 entries!
The Chapter further plans to celebrate America250 this year with a traveling Mini (Me) Exhibit, planting of Liberty Trees, Little "Freedom" Library glow-ups, and historic preservation efforts. In addition to the Art Contest winners, stay tuned as we populate the Revolutionary faces of the America250 Mini (Me) Exhibit. This "Now & Then" perspective is designed to encourage young minds to run wild with thoughts of all the great things they can accomplish.
